The Moen Smart Water Shut Off Device is a Wi-Fi enabled system that connects to your homes main water line. it continuously monitor water pressure and flow and can automatically shut off your water if it detects leaks. This protects your home from costly water damage even when you’re away. 

For homes over 30 years old, Farmers requires installation of water shut off device unless the plumbing has been completely replaced  within the last 20 years and proper documentation is provided. This measure significantly reduces the risk of water related insurance claims

Yes. A 2% discount is applied to your premium assuming the device is installed. if it is not installed within 45 days of your policy start date, that discount will be removed. if not installed by renewal, your water deductible may increase substantially.

If your plumbing has been replaced in the last 20 years, you may provide one of the following:

_A signed affidavit from a licensed contractor (often the easiest method)
_An invoice from the plumbing work
_A home inspection report stating the plumbing was replaced
